I was contacted by a company called REALLY E-Cigarette around a month ago or so asking me if I was willing to do a review for them on one of their e-cig starter kits and also some of their popular e-juices.
Of course I said yes, I was interested to see what starter kit & e-juices they wanted to send me. (I was sent this kit for free but this in no way will sway my opinion on the kit).
I have to admit I have never heard of this e-cigarette company before so I visited their website to get some info on them and discovered they are located in London. I couldn’t find any information on when they first started trading on the website but a quick company check shows they started trading a few years ago. You may be thinking why do we need to know all this? I always make sure any company I do reviews for or recommend are legit and registered with Companies House
Their goal, taken from the website, is as follows:
At REALLY, all our staff work towards one goal: Delivering quality electronic cigarettes at affordable prices! From e cigs to ejuice you will find the right electric cigarette for your requirements. In addition to traditional logistics methods we deploy a computing system which helps us better manage our stocks and delivery. From our warehouse located in London, REALLY ship to UK, Finland, Spain, Italy, France, Greece and various other countries. Use REALLY for all your electronic cigarette requirements.
So they are legit and have been around for a while, although the website could do with some spicing up a little…
Key facts about REALLY electronic cigarette:
- Free delivery when you spend £40 or more
- 7 day refund policy (except e-liquids)
- 28 days for faulty items
Let’s get into what they sent me to review…
EGO-CEO 650mAh Classic Kit:
1 x EGO 650mAh Manual Battery
1 x CEO Clearomiser (plastic tank)
1 x USB Charger
1 x EGO Standard Case
I will post separate reviews on the e-liquids so keep your eyes peeled.
This is a standard case you get with many ego starter kits but they really have gone a little further by adding their brand name to the case. There are two 2 pockets on one side and one on the other side, as well as 2 straps to hold your e-cig inside.
The starter kit comes with one ego battery, with a 650mAh capacity. That is quite small when you think about what other kits come with (at least a 1000mAh). It has a 5 click on and off safety feature..it will output a normal 3.7v.
But this is a standard starter kit to get you..well started …the battery capacity is enough for someone who is a casual vaper and it’s also a very compact battery which is handy to pop into your pocket or hand-bag on a night out, just don’t expect to be vaping all night on a 650mAh battery. This should give you around 4-5 hours of good vaping and maybe even a day if you vape less throughout the day.
There’s not much more to say about the battery, it is a standard Ego battery which comes with majority of starter kits now-a-days and is one of the safest and reliable batteries currently on the market.
I’ve never been a huge fan of CEO tanks, I just never get on with them as well as the CE4 tanks. I’m a huge EVOD 1 & 2 tank fan for starter kits and I have yet to find something as cheap and built as well.
None-the-less the tank sent to me wasn’t too bad although it has a plastic tank which really disappoints me because some liquids cannot be used with plastic tanks, and they are prone to cracking.
The atomiser is rated as 2.4ohm’s (a bit higher than what I usually vape) but a beginner would not really notice the significance of the rating as long as vapour is produced.
I tested this tank using my own DIY Cola flavoured liquid which is 99%VG based (due to having a intolerance to PG based liquids). One thing I had problem with was filling the tank using my DIY bottles as the gap you have to fill the tank through is very narrow. The e juice bottles that really sell have a thinner nozzle so it’s much easier fill the tank.
Once filled, I took some priming puffs and a big draw. First impressions: it handles pure VG juice very well – probably because of the long wicks used in this CEO tank.
I did not encounter any gargling or popping using this tank. This tank is far superior to the CE4 tanks, the build quality and finishings are top notch.
I will compare these two to what I’m familiar with, the EVOD tank from Kangertech.
I did get an abundant amount of vapour with this CEO tank but that is mainly because I’m using a very high ratio of VG compared to PG, this is why I get much more vapour compared to what a 50/50 ratio would get. It actually produces much more than the EVOD tank and the flavour profile is around the same.
Being only 0.4mg strength I felt an adequate throat hit.
One thing I would like to add to this tank is maybe an addition of an extra air hole. The draw is a bit too tight for me and that is with 2 air holes.
I’m really surprised with this tank, I thought it may have been similar to the CE4 clearomiser but I quite like this one it’s further along the line than a CE4.
Price: £17.99 (was £34.99)

The e-cigarette starter kit by REALLY surprised me, I was expecting a cheap and poorly built tank like most kits which come with a CE4, they usually break and crack after limited use.
I’ve been using the REALLY-cigarette tank for over 2 weeks now and still have had no problems with cracks or any leakages.
For the price I think it’s spot on.
I would advise to go for a larger battery capacity (at least 1000mAh) or even 2 batteries because otherwise you might be waiting for one battery to charge and you’ll have nothing to vape on while its charging.
I would also like to add that REALLY-cigarette have very good customer service, they replied promptly to my emails.
Stay tuned for my review on their e-liquid range.
